Our Beliefs:
We believe in one God (Deuteronomy 5:4). He is the creator of the heavens and the earth. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior) and as the Holy Spirit (indwelling Spirit).
We believe in repentance, asking the Lord Jesus to forgive our sins. We die to the old life of sin. Then we change our lives and walk in a new direction as God leads our lives.
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. (Acts 2:38) Baptism is a spiritual death.
We believe in receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. (Acts 2:4) This is our resurrection to new life.
We believe obeying the Great Commission to share our faith with love, mercy and compassion. Thereby, we give to missions giving to reach around the world.
How We Worship
We raise our hands because 1 Timothy 2:8 says, "I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands."
We clap our hands because Psalm 47:1 says, "O, clap your hands, all ye people."
We sing and play music because Ephesians 5:19 says to worship "in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord." And Psalm 150 say to praise God with musical instruments.
We worship with a joyful noise because Psalm 66:1 says, "Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands."
We pray alound because the early Church "lifted up their voice to God with one accord" in prayer (Acts 4:24)
